Rivian Foundation's grant
Rivian Foundation is supporting GRID Alternatives’ effort to develop and deploy innovative models for equitable access to public EV charging. Through pilot programs across diverse markets, including partnerships with Tribes and utility companies, GRID aims to create scalable business models that provide affordable EV charging to income-qualified drivers. This initiative will leverage existing low-income electricity discounts and introduce new programs to make clean mobility accessible to all. By increasing access to EV infrastructure and expanding job training opportunities in disadvantaged communities, Rivian Foundation’s support is contributing to driving a just transition to clean transportation.
