"We know our work is essential in the fight against climate change… but we also know we can’t do it alone. The climate crisis affects us all, and it is only through dedicated, thoughtful, and effective partnerships that we can create meaningful and lasting change."

Rivian Foundation's grant

Rivian Foundation's support is helping the Open Space Institute (OSI) expand its Resilient Communities Program, which is working to empower vulnerable communities to build greater resilience to climate impacts through natural solutions such as floodplain restoration and afforestation. Our support is helping OSI to empower low-income and BIPOC communities in vulnerable communities across Georgia and Tennessee by providing them with the data, technical assistance, and resources needed to plan for and respond to the negative impacts of climate change using nature-based solutions that protect their natural assets.
